Sadly, despite all stringent laws... money rules. In developing and underdeveloped countries, people generally do sell not only their kidneys but also other organs.
It is a a nexus,(I know atleast about India) where Doctors too are involved and innocent poor people are lured in the name of money to illegally donate their organs.. some are ignorant and come to know only later on after the operation is done...
